The Northwest Straits Foundation invites you to an exciting showcase of graduate research supporting Salish Sea conservation and stewardship. It's the 5^th Annual Caroline Gibson Scholarship in Marine Conservation student presentations.

This event honors former Director Caroline Gibson's legacy of building a community to restore and sustain the Salish Sea. The scholarship is 100 percent donor supported.

Join us as eight Caroline Gibson Scholars present their research through a slide show and poster presentations. You’ll learn about ocean acidification, kelp stressors and recovery, ocean bacteria’s response to climate change, how river otters are attacking green crab, molecular analysis of nearshore ecosystem health, and related aspects of Salish Sea conservation.
