Shoreline landowners are invited to join the Northwest Straits Foundation, John Bornsworth of Peninsula Environmental Group, and the Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee for a Shore Friendly workshop to learn how to protect your property from erosion and changing conditions while supporting a healthy marine environment.

Workshop topics include:

• Coastal processes & nearshore habitats
• Alternatives to shoreline armoring
• Adaptations to protect your shoreline property
• The benefits of native vegetation
• Invasive vegetation species removal
• Stormwater management
