Living with Sea Level Rise - A Shore Friendly Workshop
The Shore Friendly program of the Northwest Straits Foundation and the Clallam County Marine Resources Committee is hosting a workshop for shoreline landowners to learn about the drivers and impacts of coastal erosion, how sea level rise can intensify coastal erosion, and strategies and adaptations to prepare for future conditions.
Join Rachel Johnson and Jonathan Waggoner of Herrera Environmental to learn about Shore Friendly Living.
Workshop topics include:
- Signs of change on the shoreline
- Shoreline responses to climate change
- Adaptations to protect your shoreline property
- Home relocation and its benefits

Time: 10am - 12:30pm in classroom,
1-2pm Beachwalk

Snacks, coffee, and tea will be provided. It is recommended to bring your own sack lunch if attending the beach walk.
Masks are recommended.
